Vivien de Gunzburg is Founder, President, and Managing Partner of Ceres Infrastructure Asset Management LLC, manager of the Ceres Infrastructure Private Debt Fund. Ceres provides senior secured long-term and large-size financing to project companies (PPPs) renovating critical core U.S. infrastructure assets.

In 2003, Mr. de Gunzburg started Findercod, a corporate finance and asset management advisory boutique in the UK, Belgium, and France. Project-based long-term infrastructure (re)financing for infrastructure companies led to the creation of Ceres Infrastructure. In 2002, he participated to the creation of Stephens Financial Group, New York M&A arm of the Little Rock based banking family, where he advised on the $13.4bn Northrop Grumman–TRW merger and TRW Automotive's $4.7bn sale to Blackstone.

In 2001 he worked alongside Lazard's rainmaker Felix Rohatyn to launch Rohatyn Associates, originating landmark deals including Comcast's $72bn merger with AT&T and HSBC's $16bn acquisition of Household International, plus mandates for Suez, LVMH, Fiat, and Pfizer. From 1998 to 2000, at Lazard working under Kenneth Jacobs (now Lazard's worldwide Chairman), he executed major transactions including Pfizer's $116bn acquisition of Warner-Lambert and the $45bn Hoechst–Rhône-Poulenc merger creating Aventis.

He began his career in M&A at Republic National Bank (Edmond Safra) in New York then in corporate credit at Société Générale in Madrid and Hong Kong, followed by M&A at Rothschild & Cie. in Paris. A Young Leader and board member of the French American Foundation in the US and France, he is the founder and President of the de Gunzburg Myeloma Research Foundation (DGMRF) in the U.S., Board Member and Treasurer of French Foundation for the Research on Myeloma and Gammopathy (FFRMG) in France, Vice-President of ORT Belgium, Board Member of ORT France, Treasurer of heritage Fondation Mansart and Member of the Executive Committee of the castle of Bagatelle in Paris and Terra Sancta Museum in Jerusalem, Vice President and member of the General Committee of The Travellers club in France.
