Omar is a Partner at Ruya Partners with over 26 years of asset-raising and equity trading experience from the U.S., UK and the MENA region.

Before joining Ruya Partners, Omar was Executive Director at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, responsible for re-establishing firm’s presence in the Gulf region. He also held similar senior roles covering the region for the past 15 years, including Director roles at Man Group, Franklin Templeton Investments, and NBK Capital Partners.

Before moving back to the Middle East, Omar spent the first nine years of his career in asset-raising and institutional sales roles in the U.S., including Director at John W Henry & Co. and Principal at TradeStation Securities. Omar started his career in 1999 as an equity trader for JGM Securities in Miami.

Omar holds a B.A. in Business Management from Florida Atlantic University.
