James Munro, CAIA, is a Senior Portfolio Analyst and Deputy Head of the Portfolio Group at Albourne Partners, with 19 years’ experience in alternative investments. His expertise lies in portfolio strategy, manager selection, and risk advice, serving diverse clients across investor types, including prestigious European and Middle Eastern investors.

In between James’s two stints at Albourne, he spent five years performing a pivotal role at Bloomberg as Hedge Fund Business Manager in New York, focusing on total portfolio analysis.

His finance experience is complemented by a six-year career as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, and with an MBA from a top university in Ireland.
