Sophia Damianou is a managing director in Evercore’s Private Capital Advisory group. She is responsible for developing investor relationships and originating and advising clients on a variety of private capital transactions.

Ms. Damianou has extensive experience in capital raising for private markets strategies, having led successful fundraises in private equity, infrastructure, private credit and across a range of hedge fund strategies.

Previously, Ms. Damianou spent five years at Northleaf Capital Partners, where she was head of EMEA fundraising across the private markets program. Prior to this, she spent over a decade in various capital raising roles across public and private markets.

Ms. Damianou holds a B.Sc. from the University College of London, an MBA from Columbia Business School, and an M.Sc. in Law and Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She is fluent in English and Greek, and has a good working knowledge of French and Italian.
