Aaron Shapiro is Co-President of LSV and a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. He joined the firm in 2009 and has played a key role in the growth of LSV’s investment platform, with a focus on continuation funds, structured transactions, and other private market liquidity solutions.

Founded in 2005, LSV is a leading special situations secondary investor with approximately $4 billion of capital and commitments. For more than 15 years, the firm has partnered with investors, fund managers, and companies to deliver customized liquidity solutions across private equity, hedge funds, and other illiquid assets.

Before joining LSV, Aaron was a member of the investment team of a long/short equity hedge fund within Deutsche Bank’s DB Advisors platform. He began his career in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Lazard Frères, advising clients on mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.
