Christopher Cutler CFA is the founder of the investment consulting firm Manager Analysis Services, LLC [MAS]. MAS’s mission is to fortify the capabilities of foundations and family offices so they can invest with the same skill and diligence as the largest institutional investors. MAS two main businesses are conducting diligence on alternative investment managers, reviewing over 2,000 since MAS’s 2003 inception, and providing pensions, endowments, and foundations with independent evaluations and searches for investment consultants and OCIOs.

Chris also serves as Treasurer and Board Director at Americans for the Arts, whose mission is to build recognition and support for the extraordinary and dynamic value of the arts in American society.

Prior to founding MAS, Chris worked at Deutsche Bank from 1994 for 2003. He cofounded the stable value group, which had peak assets in its program at $15 billion. He also marketed OTC interest rate derivatives, developed structured financial products, and managed the fixed income transition management business for offshore pension plans. Chris was an Economist and bank regulator at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York from 1988 to 1994.

Chris has an MBA in Finance from NYU's Stern School of Business Executive Program, a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago, and is a CFA Charterholder. He has served in many capacities as a volunteer at the CFA Society of New York, including serving as Vice Chair.
