David is founder and CEO of W Capital Partners and a Partner of BNP Paribas Asset Management Private Equity. Since 2001, W Capital has been a pioneer in direct secondaries and GP-led secondaries, providing private equity GPs and other shareholders with liquidity for their portfolio company investments. In 2024, W Capital joined BNP Paribas Asset Management Alts as the dedicated GP led secondaries business. BNPP AM Alts is is a global leader in alternative investments, managing approximately $350 billion in assets across Real Estate, Infrastructure, Alternative Credit and Private Equity.

David speaks frequently at events worldwide and is regularly cited in leading financial publications regarding the growing market for liquidity in private equity. David served on the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Growth Equity Committee of the National Venture Capital Association. David serves on the board of SLR Capital, a publicly traded business development company. Prior to founding W Capital, David spent 15 years in senior merchant banking and investment banking roles at Lehman Brothers, Jefferies and Unterberg. David holds an MBA with distinction from New York University and a BS in Engineering, magna cum laude, with a major in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from Tufts University.
