Carmen joined HSBC Asset Management in 2012 and is the Senior Investment Specialist for Private Credit. Prior to joining the HSBC Alternatives business in 2021, Carmen was the Senior Investment Specialist for the Passive Equity Products and Head of the ETF capability. She joined HSBC from Bank of America Merrill Lynch where she was a Director of Multi-Asset Structured Products. Carmen serves as a director at the HSBC ETF plc board. Carmen has extensive experience in fundraising across a public and private asset, as well as developing and setting up new product areas, having overseen a tripling of passive equity AUM and the launch of new direct lending and transition infra debt strategies at HSBC. She holds a degree in European Business from the FH Münster (Germany).
