Appointed Level 20 CEO in December 2022, Gurpreet spent 10 years at the British Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (BVCA) as Deputy Director General and Director of Policy leading the BVCA’s response to a wide range of issues from a legal and regulatory perspective, both in the UK and Europe. Furthermore, as executive liaison to the Private Equity Reporting Group, she has played a key role in supporting the industry to implement the Walker Guidelines on greater transparency and disclosure.

Before joining the BVCA she worked at Deloitte LLP and specialised in advising private equity funds and their managers. Gurpreet studied at the London School of Economics and is a Chartered Accountant and a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.
