Andrew Olinick

Head of Private Equity at Macquarie Asset Management

Andrew is Head of Private Equity and Head of Macquarie Strategic Opportunities Fund (MSOF) for Macquarie Asset Management. Andrew is also on the Investment Committee for MSOF.

He has more than 20 years of experience in private equity. Most recently, Andrew led LionTree’s asset management business, which consists of a first-time private equity/growth fund and a venture fund. Prior to

that, he spent 15 years at 3i, a British multinational private equity and venture capital manager. Andrew was a Partner and Co-Head of North American Private Equity, and Global Head of 3i’s Business & Technology

Services investing team. He has also worked at private equity firms ZMC and VSS Capital Partners.

Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
