Cate Ambrose is CEO and Board Member of the Global Private Capital Association - an independent, non-profit membership organization. GPCA represents 300+ fund managers, institutional investors, family offices, SWFs, and DFIs who manage over US$2 trillion of assets across Asia, Latin America, Africa, Central & Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
Cate is a Steering Committee Member of the United Nations Institutional Investor Partnership for Sustainable Development (IIPSD), a Board Member at the Association for Private Capital Investment in Latin America (LAVCA) and a Board Member at Girls Write Now, a non-profit mentoring underserved young women in New York City.
Cate featured in Forbes’ prestigious '50 Over 50: Investment' ranking - which recognizes the leading women in the US in finance and investment. She speaks and writes regularly on a range of topics related to public policy and private investment in global markets. In the last twelve months, she has been a commentator on CNBC, Bloomberg TV and CNN Business Arabic.
