Charles is a Partner and Head of Asia.

As a senior member of Rede’s partnership team, Charles provides strategic oversight of the Asia business, giving tactical advice to our GP and LP clients alike. With deep knowledge in both the Asian investor landscape, and having invested across the Asian private equity both on primary and secondary capital solutions investments, he brings over 20 years’ private markets experience to bear.

Prior to joining Rede, Charles was a Partner at Atlantic-Pacific Capital, a global placement advisor, where he led Asian advisory and investor coverage for the firm. Charles was previously an investment professional at Pomona Capital, a global secondaries and private equity fund of funds manager, where he spent five years investing in managers across Asia-Pacific. Charles started his career at Merrill Lynch as an Equity Research Analyst covering the Greater China consumer sector and Asian small-mid-cap equities, and prior to that at KPMG in 2004.

Charles holds a BA in Finance and International Management from Boston University.
