Davian is a Managing Director at August Global Partners, where he oversees deal origination, execution, portfolio management and represents the fund on Boards of investee companies.

He was previously a Senior Principal at EDBI, Singapore’s strategic investment arm, where he originated and led investments a wide variety of sectors including in healthcare and technology. Notable transactions include Dontia Alliance (healthcare services), Meiban (medtech manufacturer) and Esco Lifesciences (medical devices) and Nanofilm (advanced manufacturing).

Before EDBI, Davian was Head of Strategic Corporate Development at Aalst-Wilmar, an associate of Wilmar International, and worked at BXR Group on growth and buyout deals in infrastructure, real estate, resources, healthcare, and education.

Davian’s deal experience spans growth capital, leveraged buyouts, M&A, and joint ventures. He has also been seconded to portfolio companies to support commercial negotiations, operations, and strategic business development.
