Gavin is Co-Founder, CFO and Partner of Kudu Investment Management, an independent New York City-based investment company that takes minority stakes in boutique asset and wealth management firms at the GP level. As of August 2025, Kudu has deployed approximately US $1.1 billion in 29 asset and wealth managers worldwide, which collectively represent US $140 billion in AUM.

Previously, he was a Principal at Asset Management Finance, which invested over US $800 million in GP stakes. He was also CFO at a GTCR firm Aligned Asset Managers, and a Director in KPMG’s Transaction Services.
