Profile

Kevin Jiang is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Mangusta Capital, a global venture firm backing AI-native platforms tailored to sector-specific workflows. Mangusta partners with founders building industry-defining technologies that drive real-world transformation across manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, legal, and other complex verticals.

Anchored by the Del Vecchio family office (Luxottica), Mangusta combines long-term strategic capital with institutional discipline and global scale. The firm supports its portfolio with access to 40+ operating companies, proprietary go-to-market channels, and deep relationships across the U.S., Europe, and Asia. Backed by leading institutional and angel LPs, Mangusta has invested in breakout companies like xAI and TaxGPT.

Prior to founding Mangusta, Kevin was part of the founding investment team at SoftBank’s Vision Fund, where he led growth equity investments across North America in software and logistics. Over a decade at SoftBank, he sourced and led marquee investments including Flexport, ShipBob, and Wiz, delivering strong returns and guiding strategic initiatives including M&A and IPO planning as a board representative.

Kevin began his career in finance, holding roles at Apollo Global Management in Private Equity, Soros Fund Management in Public Equities, and Goldman Sachs in Investment Banking. Across asset classes, he has built a reputation for disciplined execution and a founder-first approach to venture investing.

A Silicon Valley native and first-generation Chinese American, Kevin holds an A.B. in Economics from Harvard. Outside of work, he’s a proud dog dad, a slightly obsessive tennis player, and a big believer in the power of good storytelling—whether it’s in a boardroom or a biography on a long-haul flight.
