Nirav Mehta is a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley and is also the Co-Head of the Fund’s India Investment Operations. Mr. Mehta joined Morgan Stanley in 2009 and has over 19 years of industry experience. Mr. Mehta has been instrumental in establishing and developing the India Private Equity franchise, including leading investments in Maiva Pharma, Clearmedi Healthcare, Nspira, Ummeed, Fullife, ZCL and Jana Small Finance Bank. Mr. Mehta also serves on the National PE/VC committee of CII (Confederation of Indian Industries). Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Mr. Mehta worked for three years at ICICI Venture, where he focused on growth and buyout transactions across multiple sectors. Mr. Mehta is a native of India and is based in Mumbai. Mr. Mehta received his bachelor’s degree in commerce from St. Xavier’s College and holds an M.B.A. from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.
