Siddhartha (“Sid”) has over 20 years of investing experience, primarily as a private lender in the Asia Pacific region. Sid joined Hillhouse to spearhead the formation of Hillhouse’s private credit strategy, Elham Credit Partners, which has been actively investing since 2023. Prior to Elham Credit Partners, Sid was Head of Financing for North Asia & Pacific at Deutsche Bank, where he managed a multi-billion-dollar loan book. During his 13-year tenure at Deutsche Bank, across India, Singapore and Hong Kong, Sid held multiple roles in Origination, Structuring, Risk Management, and Portfolio Ownership. He also worked in Barclays in a regional role for 6 years. Siddhartha holds a B.E. in Electronics Engineering from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
