Mr. Hsu is a member of the private equity team, focusing on investments, secondaries and co-investments in Asia.

Prior to joining StepStone, Mr. Hsu was an Investment Manager at Bertelsmann Asia Investments, a venture capital firm based in Beijing, where he focused on early to growth stage technology, media, and telecommunications investments in the China market. Before that Mr. Hsu was an Associate Vice President in the strategy and development team at STAR Group, the Asia subsidiary of News Corporation. Before that Mr. Hsu spent several years at Morgan Stanley Asia in the investment banking division.

Mr. Hsu graduated with a BS and BA from the University of California, Berkeley.
