Wendy is a seasoned finance professional with asset management and investment banking experience. She currently leads the private credit asset class and strategic direction of Merit Asset Management, driving firm-wide initiatives and operational excellence.

Her career began at HSBC’s investment banking division in London, followed by a leadership role at Columbia Threadneedle Investments, Value Partner and BlackRock Hong Kong. At these firms, Wendy played a key role in expanding the Asia business of their institutional platform.

Wendy specializes in designing tailored investment solutions for major sovereign wealth funds and top-tier insurance clients across mainland China and Hong Kong. Her expertise spans global tech equities, U.S. stocks, bonds, and private credit, with a track record of managing assets exceeding $30 billion.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Imperial College London and a Master’s degree from the London School of Economics. Wendy actively bridges academia and industry as a standing committee member of the Imperial College Alumni Association.
