Asseri Lehtiniemi is an Investment Director at Tesi, a Finnish government-backed sovereign wealth fund focused on private equity and venture capital investments, both directly and through funds. Based in Helsinki, he manages a European fund investment portfolio as an LP, spanning strategies from early-stage venture capital to mid-market buyout.

Prior to becoming an LP investor in 2021, Asseri worked in startup and growth company finance and has experience in investment banking on both the equity and debt sides. He began his career in asset management, focusing on asset allocation for family offices on a trading desk. Before starting his career in finance, Asseri spent several years playing online poker professionally.
