Ellen van den Broek is a portfolio manager private markets at LGPS Central, where she works on fund and co-investments across strategies. She joined the team when the private equity AuM for LGPS Central grew from GBP 1.6m to around GBP 7 bn following the asset transfer under the Fit for the Future Plan from the UK government. Ellen has previously worked on private equity investments through her own company Aurorae, going in-house into GP’s and LP’s when they had a gap in the investment team, and has been a Director on the co-investment team of Capital Dynamics and an associate in the secondaries team at Partners Group. Earlier in her career she was a Financial Sponsors investment banker in London. She holds an MBA with distinction from INSEAD and speaks 5 European languages.
