Kaasim Mahmood joined Advent in 2005 with a background in clinical medicine, finance, and mergers and acquisitions. Kaasim gained an MB BS from the Royal Free and University College Medical School in London, after which he joined Cutfield, Freeman and Co, a London based corporate finance boutique. Since joining Advent, Kaasim has worked on numerous direct investments and has also assisted with the legal and financial aspects of many more. Example portfolio companies include KaNDy Therapeutics, CN Creative and Speciality European Pharma. Kaasim currently serves on the Board of F2G, NeRRe Therapeutics, Orphalan and Ventus Medical.
