Karen Nes is an Associate Portfolio Manager in the Private Equity team at Aware Super, one of Australia's largest superannuation funds, managing over AUD $200bn on behalf of its members. Based in London, Karen is responsible for private equity fund commitments and co-investments across Europe and North America. Since joining Aware Super in 2020, she has worked in both Sydney and London and played a key role in establishing the fund's European investment presence. Prior to Aware Super, Karen was part of the Investment Consulting team at Willis Towers Watson, advising Australian superannuation funds and endowments on manager selection and portfolio construction.
