Laurits Bach Sørensen is Senior Partner and Co-Founder of Nordic Alpha Partners. Throughout his career, he has scaled numerous transformative technology companies and led multiple exits, spinouts, turnarounds, and IPOs. His systematic approach to navigating complex, rapidly evolving markets has consistently delivered strong returns across industrial greentech, deeptech, resilience technologies, and enterprise software.

Over time, this approach evolved into a comprehensive value creation methodology, which became the foundation of Nordic Alpha Partners, one of the world’s first and largest growth-stage private equity funds dedicated exclusively to scaling complex transformative technologies.

Laurits is also the author of Changing The Math, the title of the Nordic Alpha Partners toolkit and playbook. It was publicly published to improve the commercialization ratio of industrial deeptech companies globally, by providing founders, investors, and operators with a practical framework for scaling transformative technologies. It is now part of the curriculum at Copenhagen Business School and the Technical University of Denmark and the book forms the basis for their Global Re-Industrialisation Programme.

Beyond Nordic Alpha Partners, Laurits serves as a key advisor to the European Commission, political forums and networks supporting European industrial resilience. He also sits on the boards of several deeptech companies and advisory boards.
