Roberto Pilotto spent all his career in private equity, both as a direct investor and as a Limited Partner.

FSI. He is currently International Partner at FSI, the largest Italy-based private equity manager with over EUR 3 bn, where he supports the Fund-Raising activities, the development and expansion of the Fund and where he is part of the Valuation Committee and Sustainability Committee.

Global PE Alliance. He is also Chairman of the Global Private Equity Alliance, a club of 7 global highly experienced private equity managers located in Europe and Asia that together total a track record of over 500 investments, which includes FSI.

Mubadala Capital. He was previously part of the Senior Team for Fund Investments at Mubadala Capital, the UAE Sovereign Fund based in Abu Dhabi, where he worked on the transaction that led to the first third-party capital fund raised by Mubadala, and made commitments and managed Fund portfolios across Europe and Asia.

Prudential/M&G. Previously, he developed from inception and served for 11 years as Head of Prudential UK’s PPM Managers (now M&G PFI) in London, where he led the private equity funds team investing over USD 2 bn billion on behalf of the Prudential Life Fund, with focus on up and coming managers in Europe, Asia, and Emerging Markets.

Earlier in his career, he gained experience in London at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and in Italy at Friulia, where he was involved in numerous growth capital transactions.
