Sofie is an Investment Director in the Private Equity and Infrastructure team at Skandia Mutual Life Insurance Company. Sofie joined the Skandia PEI team in 2007, after completing her Ph.D. in Finance at Hanken School of Economics. Her focus is on Buyout investments and Co-investments. Since joining, Sofie has been instrumental in building up the Skandia PE portfolio from an exposure of 1% to 15% of the balance sheet. The Skandia Buyout portfolio today has a NAV of approx. EUR 6bn and consists of 24 active GP relationships across Europe and North America.
