Tatiana Balkovicová is a Partner at Genesis Capital Equity, one of the leading private equity firms focused on investments in small and medium-sized companies across Central Europe. Since its establishment in 1999, Genesis Capital Equity has advised six private equity funds with total committed capital exceeding €500 million and has supported more than 80 companies.

Tatiana is responsible for originating, evaluating, structuring, and executing investments, as well as overseeing portfolio companies through supervisory board roles. She has experience across the full investment lifecycle, including due diligence, transaction execution, and portfolio value creation. She has also been involved in the successful fundraising of Genesis Private Equity Fund V, which is currently close to its hard cap of €295 million — nearly doubling the size of the predecessor fund.

Before joining Genesis Capital Equity, Tatiana spent almost 20 years in M&A advisory at Deloitte and KPMG in Prague, advising both strategic and financial investors on transactions across various sectors.

Tatiana graduated from the University of Economics in Bratislava, Slovakia, and holds the ACCA/FCCA professional qualification.
