Verena Kempe is Head of Investment Management at KENFO. Her team is responsible for management of the public and private markets portfolios. The current focus is especially on the expansion of the private markets activities. Before joining KENFO, she was the Co-Head of Private Equity at a leading German consultant where she successfully invested for institutional investors and advised on tailor-made investment strategies. She started her career in banking and was a Director in Structured Finance/Global Energy in London. She holds degrees in Economic Geography and Business Administration.
