Merijn is the ESG Tax Lead at KPMG in the Netherlands and is part of the Global ESG Tax team. Merijn is an experienced international ESG tax lawyer who has advised on Environmental tax issues like carbon and plastic taxation. Merijn is performing projects in relation to the circular economy, driven by tax regulations. He is also involved in supply chain optimizations. Last year in London Merijn was already participating the Sustainability & ESG in Taxation conference, and this year as a panel member. Merijn has a Master of Tax Laws from the University of Amsterdam.
