ESG Tax Lead at KPMG

Ruth is a Director at KPMG, and the ESG Tax Lead for KPMG in the UK. She joined KPMG 16 years ago and has a background in corporate tax, focused on international tax and working with large corporates. She spent a year on secondment from KPMG to the InterGen group. In her ESG Tax Lead role, Ruth advises businesses on the links between their sustainability strategies and tax. Topics include the EU and UK Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanisms, tax transparency, ESG reporting and carbon trading.
Ruth is a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Tax Advisor. She is a member of the European Contact Group working group on tax transparency.
