Sebastien Akbik works as a Corporate Governance Analyst at the PRI, educating investors on how to integrate corporate governance issues into their decision-making processes. A key focus of his work is ensuring investors understand the importance of responsible corporate tax behaviour for the companies they invest in, both from a risk management and impact-seeking perspective, and how investors can act. Prior to joining the PRI, Sebastien worked in sustainability reporting, helping companies across various industries improve the quality of their sustainability disclosures. Sebastien holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from the ESSEC business school and an MSc in Environmental Economics from Imperial College London.
