Profile

Suzanne Alcock is a Managing Director at FTI Consulting. She is the co-developer of the Tax Sustainability Index (TSi), designed to help organisations understand their starting position and build a tailored plan of focus on their journey towards tax sustainability. Of the five pillars that the TSi focuses on, Suzanne leads on Stakeholder Engagement. The emphasis of this pillar is the influence of tax on a wide variety of stakeholders ultimately impacting the commerciality of the business. It centres on the risks and rewards to business of earning trust, how to build this through engaging in a transparent way and the accountability of the business to deliver on its objectives for tax strategy, policy and reporting. Her experience centres on supporting clients on tax depreciation for capital assets using her surveying and tax skills to quantify the tax relief available. Whilst supporting businesses operating across a wide variety of sectors, she particularly enjoys the complex and challenging nuances associated with the renewables sector. Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Suzanne spent over 20 years in the Big 4.
