Suzanne Alcock has over 20 years of experience advising on tax depreciation for capital assets to optimise the amount and timing of tax relief available. Suzanne advises corporate occupiers and investors operating in a wide range of sectors including real estate, energy, infrastructure and renewables, hospitality and retail. She advises on all capital allowances and land remediation relief issues arising during the lifecycle of assets, including providing assumptions for financial modelling purposes, managing risks associated with entitlement to claim capital allowances, optimising and accelerating capital allowances tax relief, risk management including working collaboratively with HMRC, major overhauls and decommissioning including large and complex assets. Suzanne has advised on a wide range of renewables technologies and energy saving assets including wind, solar, BESS, biomass and MRF facilities, in addition to EV charging infrastructure, energy saving glasshouses and the retrofit of buildings. Suzanne is dual qualified as a chartered quantity surveyor and chartered tax advisor. Prior to joining FTI, Suzanne spent over 20 years at EY within the Capital Assets Tax Services Team.
