Kate is responsible for the development and implementation of InfraRed’s sustainability strategy and programme. Kate works closely with the Investments, Asset Management and Portfolio Management teams to evaluate sustainability risks and opportunities in the investment decision-making process and improve the sustainability performance of assets under management. She is also responsible for managing sustainability elements of InfraRed’s corporate functions, including training, reporting, accreditations and supporting community engagement initiatives.
Prior to joining InfraRed, Kate spent four years at Balfour Beatty Investments where she was involved in developing greenfield accommodation, education, transport and energy transactions in Australia and the United Kingdom. Before that, Kate worked in strategic consulting at Parsons Brinckerhoff (now WSP).
Kate has a certificate in Business Sustainability Management from the University of Cambridge. Kate is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand and has a Bachelor of Commerce and Economics from the University of Queensland, Australia.
