Pilar Gutierrez works as a Senior Policy Expert at the EBA, where she leads EBA policy work on institutions' transparency and Pillar 3 disclosures, and the EBA Transparency Subgroup. She is a member of the Basel Working Group on Disclosures, where she has contributed to the development of the Basel III revised Pillar 3 framework. She is also a member of the Commission’s technical expert group on sustainable finance (TEG), Subgroup on climate change related disclosures, where she contribute to the report on climate-related disclosure. Beforehand, also in the EBA, Pilar coordinated the EBA work on stress testing and on the risk assessment report. Prior to joining the EBA in 2011, Pilar worked for 6 years in banking supervision at the Bank of Spain. Before that she worked in the financial services consulting industry first in Accenture, and then as a manager in Everis. She holds a master’s degree in law and a master’s degree in business administration, both from ICADE - Comillas Pontifical University (Madrid).
