As Head of Tax Jere has the overall responsibility for all tax matters of Bata. Bata's key operations are in the emerging markets where tax matters are complex and ever changing. Much attention has been given to tax audits of late given the developments and tax authority activity in Africa, Latam and Asia. Recent focus areas include intellectual property and supply chain structures. Jere has fifteen year experience in various industries such as telecoms, manufacturing and shoes.
