Profile
Katerina Perrou obtained her PhD in international taxation from IALS, University of London; she has worked as a lawyer and tax consultant before joining the Independent Authority for Public Revenue of Greece, as Legal Counsel to the Governor. She is an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Athens Law School (Greece), where she teaches International and EU Tax Law; she is a visiting professor at QMUL (UK) and at the University of Amsterdam (The Netherlands). She is a member of the List of Independent Persons of Standing appointed under Directive (EU) 2017/1852 on Tax Dispute Resolution Mechanisms in the EU. Her research focuses on cross-border tax dispute resolution (MAPs); transfer pricing disputes prevention and resolution (APAs and MAPs); business restructurings; and protection of taxpayer rights.
