Ellie Avni has extensive experience working with large global alternative asset managers and private companies advising on matters relating to Employment Taxes and Reward.

Ellie’s experience includes the design and implementation of carried interest and co-investment for large global alternative asset managers, including the full-scale review of existing carry and reward arrangements from a tax and regulatory perspective and assessing these against market practice. Ellie has also advised a wide range of clients on designing management incentive plans and growth shares, and the taxation of employment related securities.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Ellie worked in the Compensation team at Investcorp where she was heavily involved in all matters relating to reward for employees and senior stakeholders. This included managing internationally mobile employees, structuring carried interest arrangements and advising on UK and US tax matters for employees.

Before Investcorp, Ellie worked at Deloitte LLP where she worked with large private equity funds on their carried interest and co-investment arrangements and advised private companies on incentivising senior employees and management equity plans.
