Bernard Duffy has over 25 years of training experience and he specializes in delivering programmes for the financial service sector across the full spectrum of products and asset classes, both traditional and alternative, recently focusing on the area of ESG and Sustainable Investing in Sustainable Finance.
His training experience in ESG and Sustainability stretches back to 2006 when he led a major training initiative around Cleantech for a leading European Private Bank. Bernard began his investment management career with Abbey Life followed by Irish Life Assurance Plc.
He was responsible for investment product marketing, new fund launches, and the company's successful entry into the U.K. single premium bond market. He then joined County Natwest Investment Management. Over 10 years his roles spanned from research and development to junior portfolio management, rising finally to Head of the North American Equity Desk. Since then he has delivered training and consultancy projects around the globe for leading asset managers, pension funds, and private banks. Bernard has a BA(Hons) in Economics and Politics, an MA in Development Economics, and an MBA in Finance from Cass Business School. He also holds the C.F.A. Certificate in ESG Investing and the C.F.A. Certificate in Climate and Investing.
