Theranexus BD chief outlines CNS R&D strategy

Julien Veys, chief business development officer at Theranexus, speaks to Mike Ward, global director of content for Informa Pharma Insights, about the French company's strategy of developing drug candidates able to increase the efficacy of therapies for central nervous system disorders that have already been approved and are available on the market. Theranexus, founded in 2013, is a spinout from the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA). By targeting its technology to registered CNS drugs, the company believes it is able to drastically shorten development timelines and increase the chances of R&D success.
