Congress Center Hamburg is a convention center in Hamburg, Germany, located right next to Planten un Blomen, near the Hamburg Dammtor station. It opened on 14 April 1973 as the first of its kind in Germany.

  • The Dammtor mainline train station is a 3 minute walk from the Congress Center which connects you to Hamburg Central Station in just 3 minutes.
  • Use the commuter train (“S” train system) to take you to and from Hamburg Airport to the CCH in approximately 30 minutes.

Directions to Hamburg City Centre

Walking: Approximately a 30 minute walk via Planten un Blomen park and along the Kleine Alster waterfront.

Driving: Approximately a 7 minute drive

Public Transport: Approximately 21 minutes

  • Walk 3 minutes to Dammtor station and take the M-Bus 6 minutes to Jungfernstieg which is the heart of the city.
  • Walk 14 minutes to Stephansplatz station and take the U1 line one stop to Jungfernstieg.

Ticket Types:

  • Single Ticket: Valid for a single journey within the selected zones.
  • Day Pass (Tageskarte): Unlimited travel within the selected zones for one day.
  • Group Ticket: Valid for up to 5 people traveling together.

Buying Tickets:

  • Ticket Machines: Located at all train and metro stations. They accept cash (Euros) and credit/debit cards.
  • Mobile App: Download the HVV app (Hamburger Verkehrsverbund).
  • Online: Tickets can also be purchased through the HVV website.
