Asaf Cohen is the Head of CMC for the N=1 Program at Sheba Medical Center—the largest hospital in Israel and the 1^st institutes outside the US to successfully fully developed an N=1 treatment from conception to clinical application. Asaf leads the CMC strategy and operations required to translate Sheba’s RNA-based platform into scalable, GMP-compliant clinical products. With deep expertise spanning GMP manufacturing, analytics, device development, and IND-enabling activities, Asaf focuses on risk-aware development and seamless cross-functional alignment to accelerate nucleic acid therapeutics from bench to clinic. He holds a B.Sc. in Pharmaceutical Engineering and an MBA in Biomedical Management.
