David Craik, FAA, FRS, is a Professor of Chemistry at the Institute for Molecular Bioscience at The University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia and the Director of the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for Innovations in Peptide and Protein Science. His research focuses on applications of cyclic peptides in drug design. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society and a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science, and is author of more than 800 papers.
