Dr. Jiazhen Liang, a senior scientist in GenScript Biotech, majored in peptide medicinal chemistry. After graduating in 2022, Dr. Jiazhen Liang worked at Asymchem, and was mainly engaged in process development and optimization, as well as GMP production of peptides. Joining GenScript in 2023, Dr. Jiazhen Liang has specialized in the synthesis of complex peptides, including hydrophobic peptides and long peptides.

Dr. Jiazhen Liang has extensive experience in peptide synthesis and purification, peptide process development and optimization, publishing two academic articles in Journal of Medicinal Chemistry as first author. During his time at GenScript, he developed a new method to synthesis hydrophobic peptides without the use of RP-HPLC at the final step. This greatly promotes the synthesis of hydrophobic peptides adding important application value.
