Kaspar Sutter is the elected Head of the Department of Economic, Social and Environmental Affairs of the Canton of Basel-Stadt since 2021, with the specialist fields of economics, of social insurance and social support and of environmental and energy policy. He represents the interests of the Canton within a variety of affiliated organisations, in-cluding: Member of the Board of EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse and of Port of Switzerland.
