Letizia Volpe, born in Italy, after her studies in Chemical Engineering in Padua, Italy and her PhD in Process Engineering in Hannover, Germany, has assumed several roles in the specialty chemicals and pharmaceutical industry in Switzerland in both development and chemical/ API manufacturing. Since 2013 in Novartis, she has assumed the role of Manufacturing Science and Technology Head Chemical Operations Switzerland back in 2020. In the same year she embarked in the oligonucleotides journey taking over also the responsibility of leading the technical transfer of Leqvio drug substance to the Swiss site of Schweizerhalle.
