Margot Pont, PhD, is the VP of Translational Development at Integra Therapeutics, where she oversees preclinical development, regulatory strategies, and CMC to advance the FICAT platform toward clinical application. With 15 years of experience across academia and industry, Dr. Pont is a translational scientist focusing on T cell immunotherapy throughout research, preclinical, and clinical development. Her work spans CAR-T and TCR-T therapies, addressing both hematological malignancies and solid tumors.
Previously, Dr. Pont was the Head of Translational Science at Galapagos and CellPoint BV. In these roles, she directed the strategy and operations for biomarker testing from early discovery through mid-stage clinical development. Her responsibilities included managing EMA and FDA interactions for multiple CAR-T programs and contributing to the IND filing for the Atalanta-1 study, which received RMAT designation.
Dr. Pont completed a postdoctoral research fellowship at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, working on translational projects aimed at improving the fitness and efficacy of adoptive T cell therapies. She earned her PhD in Hematology and Cellular Immunotherapy from Leiden University identifying targets for T cell therapy after allogeneic stem cell transplantation.
