Monika Papayova completed her undergraduate Biochemistry degree at St John’s College, Oxford, before undertaking a PhD in Chemical Biology with Prof. Ali Tavassoli at the University of Southampton, where she focused on screening SICLOPPS cyclic peptide libraries. She was subsequently awarded an EPSRC Doctoral Prize to continue her work as a postdoctoral researcher, leading target‑identification studies on cyclic peptide hits.
