Pascal Engi studied chemistry at the University of Bern, Switzerland. He then joined the group of Prof. Florian Seebeck at the University of Basel, where he obtained his Ph.D. for designing and synthesizing modified peptide and amino acid probes to elucidate enzymatic mechanisms in 2017. In 2018 he started his career as project chemist with Bachem in Switzerland. Pascal took a position as team leader in the R&D department after a short while and later as senior group leader in the same department. During his time at Bachem, he has been involved with many successful and challenging process development projects as well as GMP and non-GMP manufacturing campaigns.
