Profile
Philipp is a biopharmaceutical engineer specializing in the process development of novel therapeutic modalities. He holds an M.Sc. in Bio Process Engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and gained research experience as a Visiting Scholar at Tel Aviv University and Harvard Medical School. His Master's thesis focused on microfluidic-enhanced bioprinting and tissue engineering. Philipp joined Roche in Basel in 2023, where he currently leads downstream process development for oligonucleotides as a Subject Matter Expert and Chemical Project Lead, ensuring successful process development, scale-up and GMP production. He is also actively involved in process modeling, technology transfer to CMOs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
